Great Quality, Air Dried Hard Wood

Herrings Green Fire Wood is fully licensed to supply fire wood, we are members of the Ready To Burn firewood scheme, our wood is regularly tested to ensure we meet the standards and regulations.

Your firewood is dried to 20% or less moisture levels and is ready to burn from the moment it is delivered. Your delivery contents may vary depending on wood availability but can contain Ash, Birch, Oak or Beech.

LOG LENGTHS – A size to suit all burners! Our logs are cut to fit standard size log burners and open fires, if you require smaller logs please let us know.

Cubic Metre Bags – One cubic metre bag, filled with air dried hard wood £95.00

Truck Load – Approximately two cubic metre bags, air dried hard wood £190.00

Barrow Bags – Air dried hard wood £55.00 Collection Only

We are able to deliver to your door and offer free delivery within a five mile radius of the farm, outside of this delivery charges will apply. Alternatively you are able to collect from the farm.

The Story of Herrings Green Wood

Here at Herrings Green Farm all of our fire wood is sustainably sourced from natural thinning’s of mature woodlands. It is harvested and allowed to dry naturally before being delivered to our farm. Once at the farm it is then stacked for a period of time before it is then processed into logs and allowed to air dry further.

We are passionate about our wood and that it meets our licensing requirements. You are more than welcome to come along and view the wood you wish to purchase. We are open 7 days a week, come along for a friendly chat and to discuss your requirements.
