Head out into the countryside and enjoy 2 hours of meeting, handling and flying a variety of owls and hawks. Your experience will give you the opportunity to come face to face with some of the most beautiful owls from around the world. The species include Eagle Owls, Barn Owl, Great Grey Owl, Tawny Owl and more. You will also get the chance to experience their silent flight; free fly some of the species. This will all be followed by going on a hawk walk, meet our team of hawks and take them through the fields as they glide through the trees and down to your glove.

SEN Bird & Animal Experience – June 23rd, 30th July 7th & 14th 10.00 – 11.30
We are now offering SEN bird and animal experiences during June & July 10.00 – 11.30. These work shops have been designed to allow the children interaction with our birds and animals. The range of birds and animals allow the children to view them closely, touch and interact.
All of the children are encouraged to experience the birds and animals as much as possible, however some children may well choose to look from a distance. Our experienced keepers will aim to reduce anxieties that the children may have around individual animals, we have found by creating a calm and relaxed environment, this can often be achieved.
June 23rd – Owls 10.00 – 11.30
Children will be introduced to some of our beautiful owls. Children will be able to hold some of the owls, ask the falconers any questions they may have and learn all about the them; how far can they turn their heads, do they only fly at night and how good their hearing is. There will also be the opportunity for the children to have a go at flying an owl
June 30th – Farm 10.00 – 11.30
Children will be introduced to some our farm animals. Children will have the opportunity to meet and feed our cheeky goats, greedy pigs, beautiful llamas and alpacas and our donkeys. Our animals are very friendly and are perfect for children to interact with.
July 7th – Furry and Scaled Friends 10.00 – 11.30
Our animal keepers will be introducing the children to some of our furry friends we have on the farm including our rabbits, guinea pigs, Penelope our skunk, different species of reptiles including our snake and bearded dragon, meet some creepy crawlies and more. Children will be able to meet and touch the animals as well as feeding them.
July 14th – Birds of Prey 10.00 – 11.30
Children will have the opportunity to meet and handle some different species of birds of prey, ask the falconers any questions they may have and learn about them. There will also be opportunities for the children to have a go at flying a hawk.
£13.50 per child and includes one free adult, additional adults £5.00 per person
Each session includes admission into the farm and bird of prey centre for the day.

A chance to meet many different species of Birds of Prey, from the giants of the skies the Eagles, to the beautiful Owls. Under the supervision of a falconer you will have the opportunity to meet, handle and fly a variety of Owls, Hawks, Eagles and Falcons.
