A Hawk on the Wild Side – February 2nd 9.30-4.00
Take a walk on the wild side this Autumn and spend the day in the company of our hawks. A fantastic day out in the Bedfordshire countryside.
Your day will start at 9.30, on arrival you will be met by our falconers and over tea/coffee receive an introduction on your day ahead. From here you will be introduced to our team of Hawks and given a short lesson on how to handle, feed and fly them before heading out across the fields. Here you will see the hawks in action as the follow on through the canopy of the trees and along the hedgerows before swooping into your gloved hand.
We break for lunch at 1.00 where you will enjoy a hearty beef stew with crusty bread.
We continue into the afternoon where you will have the opportunity to learn a little about the art of falconry, have a go at learning the falconers knot and meet, handle and fly some different species of owls and eagles.
Places are limited on this experience so we advise you book early to avoid disappointment.
