A Hawk on the Wild Side – November 8th 9.30-4.30
Take a Walk on the Wild Side This Autumn
Spend an unforgettable day in the Bedfordshire countryside in the company of our magnificent hawks.
Your experience begins at 9:30am, where you’ll be welcomed by our expert falconers with tea or coffee and given an introduction to the day ahead. You’ll then meet our team of hawks and enjoy a short lesson in how to handle, feed, and fly them.
From there, it’s into the fields—watch as the hawks follow gracefully through the trees and hedgerows before swooping back to land on your gloved hand.
At 1:00pm, we pause for a hearty beef stew with crusty bread before continuing into the afternoon. Here, you’ll gain insight into the ancient art of falconry, practice tying the falconer’s knot, and meet, handle, and fly a variety of owls and eagles.
Places are limited, so we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.
