Animal Keeper Day – April 27th 10.00-4.00

On April 27th we are running one of our animal keeper days just for adults. The day will run from 10.00 – 4.00 and will be a packed day full of activities which will allow you to get close to many of our beautiful animals and birds.

On arrival you will be met by our experienced animal keepers, you will go on to be given a guided tour of the farm and zoo. From here your morning will be spent meeting, handling and flying many of our owls, hawks, eagles and falcons. Come face to face with our beautiful owls, experience the swift flight of the hawks, come face to face with an American Bald Eagle plus many more.

We break for lunch at 1.00 where you can enjoy a buffet style lunch accompanied by soft drinks.

After lunch we continue into the afternoon by meeting any of our farm animals; step out into our goat paddock and meet our friendly herd of goats, meet our alpacas, our beautiful spring lambs, our skunk Penelope, meet and feed our sheep, donkeys and ponies, come face to face with some of our reptiles and snakes plus much more.

This day has been designed to give you an insight into working with animals as well as having fun!
