Christmas Gifts – 2 Hour Owl & Kite Experience for Two: January 9th 10.00-12.00 & January 24th 1.00-3.00

Not Just a Gift — An Experience That Soars!

Looking for something a little different to put under the tree this Christmas?

Forget more stuff and give them something they’ll remember — an unforgettable hands-on experience with some of our beautiful owls and kites at Herrings Green Activity Farm & Bird of Prey Centre.

Owls and kites are undoubtedly some of the most loved and fascinating birds of prey, and during this special two-hour experience, guests will have the rare opportunity to get incredibly close to both.

Meet Our Kites

Your experience begins by meeting some of our magnificent Red and Black Kites.

You’ll have the opportunity to enter their enclosures with our experienced falconer, spend time observing these incredible birds up close and even help to feed them. This is a fantastic chance to discover more about these beautiful birds — with plenty of opportunities to capture some amazing photographs along the way.

Meet, Handle & Fly Our Owls

Next, it’s time to meet some of our wonderful owls. You’ll have the opportunity to get hands-on and handle a variety of species, which may include our Barn Owl, Scops Owl, Tawny Owl, European Eagle Owl and more.

Learn about their individual personalities, adaptations and behaviours before heading out to our flying ground.

Then comes the really magical part…

Put on your falconry glove and experience the unforgettable moment of an owl silently gliding through the air and landing on your hand.

It’s an experience you won’t forget.
