FULL DAY OWLS AND EAGLES
Both Owls and Eagles have always held a huge fascination with people. Whether its the striking eyes of the owls and the myths that surround them or the enormous power and the symbol of hope and strength that eagles have they are all amazing raptors.
Join us for a day in the company of these fantastic birds.
On arrival at the centre you will be met by one of our falconers and received a guided tour of the centre, home to over 200 birds of prey.
Meet and learn about the owls and eagles that our centre homes. You will then go on to meet and handle many different species of owls including the Barn Owl, Great Grey Owl, Scops Owl, European Eagle Owl, Milky Eagle Owl to name just a few. You will then go on to meet the giants of the skies, our collection of eagles. Come face to face with the spectacular American Bald Eagle, African Fish Eagle, Bateleur Eagle, Golden Eagle and Blue Chilean Eagle.
There will also be time for you to take in one of our flying displays where you can see many of our birds in action.
After an hour lunch break (not provided so please bring a packed lunch or head in to our tea room for a tasty treat), we continue into the afternoon with free flying the owls and eagles. Experience the silent flight of the owls as they glide into your arm and the powerful and breath taking flight of our eagles.
This activity comes with a gift voucher valid for 12 months so there’s no need to book a date straight away. We run this experience all year round depending on availability. You fly the birds, you choose the date.
