Halloween Evening with Owls – October 24th 5.00-8.00
Join us this Owl-oween for a spooktacular family evening filled with magnificent owls, hands-on experiences, delicious food and plenty of Halloween fun!
The evening’s activities begin at 5:30pm with a tasty BBQ supper of burgers and sausages, served with a selection of mixed salads and a soft drink.
After supper, you’ll have the opportunity to meet and handle some of our incredible owls. Come face-to-face with a beautiful Barn Owl, feel the impressive weight of a Giant Eagle Owl and meet our adorable little Scops Owl—along with several other fascinating species.
Our friendly falconers will be on hand throughout the evening, making this the perfect opportunity to ask questions, learn more about these remarkable birds and capture some memorable family photographs.
Next, head into the main arena and have a go at flying an owl yourself! Put on a falconer’s glove and experience the thrill of an owl gliding silently through the air before landing gently on your hand. It’s an unforgettable experience for children and adults alike.
As darkness falls, the evening will conclude with our spectacular owl-flying display by torchlight. Watch a variety of beautiful owls take to the night sky, soaring through the arena and flying just over the tops of your heads.
Children are encouraged to come in their best Halloween costumes for our fancy-dress competition, with prizes awarded to the best-dressed girl and boy. We’ll also be holding a raffle, giving you the chance to win an amazing owl experience!
Perfect for families and owl lovers of all ages, this promises to be a magical night of great food, wonderful wildlife and Halloween fun.
