Grab your wand, dust off your robes and prepare for a magical family day out at Herrings Green Activity Farm & Bird of Prey Centre!
Step into a world of enchantment where magnificent owls, magical creatures and spellbinding experiences await. Whether you’re a lifelong Harry Potter fan or simply looking for a fun-filled day with the family, our Wizard Weekend promises a day packed with unforgettable memories.
Throughout the day you’ll enjoy a magical programme of activities, including:
10.30am – Meet & Handle an Owl
11.00am – Pat-a-Pet with our rabbits & guinea pigs
11.30am – Magical Owl Flying Display – watch these incredible birds glide silently overhead
12.15pm – Tractor Rides (weather permitting)
12.30pm – Have a Go at Flying an Owl – an unforgettable opportunity to have an owl fly to your gloved hand
1.00pm – Critter Encounter
2.00pm – Farm Animal Meet & Greet
2.30pm – Birds of Prey Flying Display – see our amazing birds soaring through the skies
3.15pm – Tractor Rides (weather permitting)
3.30pm – Pat-a-Pet with our rabbits & guinea pigs

Dress as your favourite witch, wizard or magical character for the chance to win prizes for our Best Wizard and Best Witch competitions!
Your magical adventure doesn’t stop there. Spend the rest of the day exploring one of the UK’s largest Bird of Prey Centres, home to over 200 magnificent birds. Meet our friendly farm animals, enjoy the playgrounds, climb aboard the ride-on tractors, browse our gift shop and relax in our Tea Room, serving a delicious selection of sandwiches, homemade cakes, snacks and hot and cold drinks.
